The aim of the club is two fold, to aid older people with mental health problems by providing genuine care and stimulating activities one day a week and to give relief to the families and neighbours who care for them. The club has a maximum of twelve members who are referred by the staff of the Department of Health and Local GP’s. Members are collected and taken back home by the Age Concern minibus and are provided with a two course lunch.
